HSBC Premier and Advance customers can take advantage of two unique Online Banking features that make viewing, managing, and transferring your funds between your HSBC deposit accounts2 quick and easy.

Global View

Get an overview of your eligible worldwide HSBC accounts from home or abroad. You can view these accounts in one convenient place through Global View. This unique service within Online Banking allows you to:

  • Link your HSBC Accounts worldwide through Global View
  • Access your HSBC Accounts worldwide with one single log on.
  • View the balances of your HSBC Accounts on one screen.
  • Launch the Online Banking service for each HSBC Account linked under Global View from a central page
  • Monitor your HSBC Accounts2 through the HSBC Mobile Banking App

Global Transfers

HSBC allows you to seamlessly transfer funds between your eligible HSBC Accounts2 linked through Global View. Global Transfers benefits include:

  • Instant and secure international transfers
  • Real time foreign exchange rates
  • Daily Transfer limit up to 100,000 USD3 or equivalent in any currency.

1 Global View and Global Transfers are only available for HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance customers and are not available in all countries. Foreign currency exchange rates and local country limitations may apply.

2 All HSBC accounts, are viewable through Global View. Accounts eligible for Global Transfers include all HSBC accounts, except for Time deposit and Saving Certificates. You cannot debit Egyptian Pound accounts to perform Global Transfers.

3 The maximum outward Global Transfers limit for HSBC Egypt accounts is USD 100,000 per transaction and per day. Other countries may have local limit restrictions. Check with your destination country for limit information.

Transfer online

It’s easy. All you need to do is:

1. Log on to Online Banking
2. Select "Move Money"
3. Enter payment details*
4. Review and confirm payment

*1- Select "From account" account to debit. (you can only select non-EGP accounts)
2- Select "My accounts" tab from "To account".
3- In the Amount filed select "Currency" and input amount
4- Select from the drop list "Reason for transaction"
5- Select payment date

What are the participating countries?

Currently Global View and Global Transfers are available for accounts in: Australia, Bahrain, Bermuda, Brunei, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Jersey, Lebanon, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Oman, Vietnam, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, UAE, UK and US.

Can more than one account be linked on HSBC Global View?

Yes, all your accounts within HSBC in participating countries can be linked to HSBC Global View.

Can I link the account of a family member or a friend on HSBC Global View?

No, you can only link your own account in participating countries on HSBC Global View.

How soon after I have opened my account can I link it to Global View?

Once your account has been opened you will need to allow up to 48 hours before you attempt to link it through the HSBC Global View service.

What is HSBC Global Transfers?

HSBC Global Transfers allow you to transfer money instantly between your accounts linked on HSBC Global View.

Is instant money transfer for all currencies?

The supported currencies for instant outward transfers from HSBC Egypt are: AED, AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, KWD, NOK, SAR, SEK, and USD. These currencies abbreviations are the standard currencies abbreviation by the International Organization for Standardization ISO (www.iso.org).

Why do Global Transfers in some currencies take longer than others?

A small number of currencies can only be traded on-shore due to local regulatory restrictions, and although these currencies will still be available for you to transfer in, there may be a short delay in processing these transactions.

What is the fee applicable on HSBC Global Transfers?

HSBC Premier customers can transfer money free of charge. HSBC Advance customers pay a charge of USD7 for every transfer

The maximum daily limit is USD 100,000.

How can I cancel the service?

The service can be cancelled, using online banking by removing the country(ies) linked or by sending a secure message or by contacting the local contact center.
