Frequently asked questions: Personal Banking Account Campaign

What is the offer? Who can benefit from this offer?

Customers who open new to bank HSBC Personal banking account during the campaign period and do not have any accounts with HSBC Bank Egypt as of 31 March 2021 will be waived from:

  • account opening fees
  • minimum account opening balance
  • visa Debit card issuance fees for 1st year only

All other fees & charges will apply as per the schedule of services and tariffs on HSBC public website.

Wh­­­­­­­­­at is the duration of the HSBC Personal Banking campaign?

From 1 April 2021 until 29 April 2021, both days included.

Who is eligible for this campaign?

Customers who open new to bank HSBC Personal banking account during the campaign period and do not have any accounts with HSBC Bank Egypt as of 31 March 2021.

Notes:

  • no minimum balance required for Personal Banking accounts acquired during the campaign
  • in case the account remains without any available funds for three consecutive months, account will be automatically closed by the bank
  • the offer is not applicable for existing HSBC customers or any customer who hold any product from HSBC Bank Egypt

What else do I need to know about the Campaign?

These campaign terms and conditions apply only in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The bank reserves the right to extend the campaign period, terminate the campaign early subject to updating HSBC Bank Egypt public website ww.hsbc.com.eg with the same. HSBC decisions on all matters relating to the campaign shall be final and conclusive.
