Global View

Get an overview of your eligible worldwide HSBC accounts from home or abroad in one convenient place through Global View. This unique service within online banking allows you to:

  • Link your HSBC accounts worldwide and access them with a single log on

  • View the balances of your HSBC accounts on one screen

  • Launch online banking for each HSBC account linked under Global View from a central page

  • Monitor your HSBC accounts through the HSBC Mobile Banking App

Global Transfers

Seamlessly transfer funds between your eligible HSBC accounts1 linked through Global View. Global Transfers benefits include:

  • Instant and secure international transfers

  • Real-time foreign exchange rates

  • Daily transfer limit up to 100,000 USD2 or equivalent in any currency

Things you should know

Service availability

Global View and Global Transfers are only available for HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance customers and are not available in all countries or regions yet. Foreign currency exchange rates and local country/region limitations may apply.

It's currently available in Australia, Bahrain, Bermuda, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, China, Egypt, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Jersey (Expat), Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, UAE, UK, US and Vietnam.

How to use this service

To use Global View and Global Transfers, you must have online banking set up in the countries and regions you hold Premier or Advance Accounts. You'll need to enter your log on details to link and move money between your accounts.

Link your accounts

  1. Log on and select 'Add a country/region' in 'Global View'. 
  2. Select the country/region to link to. 
  3. Enter your log on details for that country/region. 
  4. Accept our 'Terms and conditions'. View your linked accounts in 'Account overview'.

Move money between your accounts

  1. Log on and select 'Global Transfers'. 
  2. Select the 'Transfer from' and 'Transfer to' country/region. 
  3. Enter your log on details for the 'Transfer from' country/region. 
  4. Enter the transfer details (eg. account, currency, amount and date). 
  5. Check your transfer details and press 'Confirm'.

It may also include making enquires to establish whether a person is subject to sanctions. Exceptionally, this may delay the carrying out of your instructions or the receipt of cleared fund, but where possible, we will advise you of the reasons for and likely length of any delay. You agree that neither we, nor any other member of the HSBC Group, shall be responsible to you or any third party for any loss incurred as a result of us or any other member of the HSBC Group, shall be responsible to you or any third party for any loss incurred as a result of us or any other member of the HSBC Group taking the actions set out in this paragraph.

HSBC Bank Egypt S.A.E (the "Bank") is required to act in accordance with the laws and regulations operating in various countries and regions around the world relating to international sanctions. Under these sanctions requirements, the Bank is prohibited from engaging in certain transactions. The Bank would only process transactions that are in compliance with applicable sanctions. HSBC Bank Egypt reserves the right to request additional documents from the customer to proceed with the transfer.

1All HSBC accounts, are viewable through Global View. Accounts eligible for Global Transfers include all HSBC accounts, except for Time deposit and Saving Certificates. You cannot debit Egyptian Pound accounts to perform Global Transfers.

2The maximum outward Global Transfers limit for HSBC Egypt accounts is USD 100,000 per transaction and per day. Other countries and regions may have local limit restrictions. Check with your destination country or region for limit information.
